Beginner Zen: Instruction, Meditation, Talk & Tea, 10-11:30am

The morning, guided by a zen monk or dharma student, includes instruction.  Please arrive early to park & get settled inside.  Doors open at 9:30am with tea available downstairs in the cafe.  Gate closes with no entry after 9:55am.  

Schedule: 

9:30:  Doors open

9:55:  Gate closes (no entry afterward)

10-11am:  Instruction, Meditation, Dharma Talk

11-11:30:  Tea & Discussion in Cafe 

Wear loose fitted clothing in subdued colors.  No fragrances, hats, shorts or tank tops.  We offer meditation mats, kneeling benches, and stools.   The session includes instruction, meditation, a talk & tea, and ends with discussion & tea together in the cafe with a guiding zen monk or student.  A  greeter will be out in front by 9:30am to help you  park & enter.  Look for the blue door on Casmere Street, at the corner of Mitchell.
