We offer short term (Zen Stay), and long term residency.  The Zen Center is set across 3 buildings & 3 city lots, with a 3 story historic home (Residency) adjacent & connected to a 5000 sf commercial building (Zen Center), which share gardens, green roofs, and an adjoining corridor.  The Residency is a clean, lovely, spacious home with 4 single bedrooms, & a 3rd floor loft apartment.  The 4 bedrooms are all located on the 2nd floor, and share 2 full bathrooms, a kitchen with many amenities (vegetarian use only), a living room, dining room, a front porch & garden.  2 cats live on site; no additional animals are permitted.  The residency is open year round for long term students, and during summer & winter for Zen Stay guests.  

Rooms 1-3 are cozy, simply appointed rooms, each with a bed, desk, bureau, chair, window & closet.  Room 4 overlooks the green roof through large sliding glass windows, and is about double the size of a single bedroom.  The loft is a beautiful space, with a full bathroom, kitchenette, generous light & views through wall length sliding glass windows, and a private balcony that overlooks the green roof & City. 

The Zen Center building is a large hall, with a main floor meditation hall with perimeter monastic rooms, and a lower level commercial kitchen.  Resident monastics live there during summer & winter.  Established students or patrons may ask  may ask the monastics to use a monastic style guest room in the meditation hall and join the daily schedule of practice, meals & work projects, by donation. Please make arrangements with the Director.

The neighborhood is walkable, eclectic, safe & very diverse.
